Venue Identity Design | Shillington College | 2 Days
Design for a multi-purpose venue in the heart of Berlin, reflecting the strong history and culture of the city. The venue itself has been designed by the renowned Japanese Architect, Tadao Ando.
Off-Kilter, Merging, Re-aligned
As I delved into the rich history of Berlin and its many historic periods of innovation and affluence, war and tragedy, I was struck by the stories highlighting the strength, resilience and solidarity of Berliners themselves, despite the engulfing politics, even in more recent times, of the Berlin Wall.
I developed Fusion to reflect the solidarity of the people and the long history that makes up Berlin as it is today, influenced by the architectural style of Tadao Ando using simple shapes to create a functional graphic system.
